This policy explains what cookies ResaleTruth uses on resaletruth.com and app.resaletruth.com, and why.

1. Marketing site (resaletruth.com)

The marketing site does not use tracking cookies. Specifically:

• No Google Analytics or Google Tag Manager
• No Facebook Pixel or Meta tracking
• No third-party behavioral analytics (Mixpanel, Segment, Amplitude, Hotjar, FullStory, etc.)
• No advertising retargeting pixels
• No Plausible, Fathom, or other privacy-first analytics at this time

The marketing site may set a single session cookie if you interact with the waitlist form or dismiss a notification bar — this cookie is essential for that interaction and expires when you close your browser tab. It contains no personal data and is not shared with third parties.

Because no consent-triggering cookies are set, no cookie consent banner is shown on this site.

2. Application (app.resaletruth.com)

The ResaleTruth application sets the following essential cookies:

• Authentication session cookie — keeps you logged in across page loads. Set by Supabase Auth. Expires based on your session length (default: 1 hour, extended if you choose "stay logged in").
• Preference cookies — store UI settings such as display preferences. Session-scoped or persistent up to 1 year. Contain no personal data beyond anonymous identifiers.

The application does not set advertising, tracking, or cross-site analytics cookies.

3. Third-party services

Some third-party services used by ResaleTruth may set their own cookies:

• Stripe (payment processing, app only) — may set fraud-prevention cookies during checkout. These are essential for secure payment processing.

We do not control third-party cookies set by services you navigate away from our site to visit (e.g., eBay's own site during OAuth authorization).

4. How to manage cookies

You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies on app.resaletruth.com will prevent login from working. Blocking them on the marketing site has no functional impact.
